초록

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD) is a complex disease with considerable variability affecting about 65 million individuals [1]. We therefore performed a genome-wide association study (GWAS) of COPD severity. Thirty-four genetic variants were identified (P <1.0 x 10(-5)), and were located in intron and upstream/downstream regions. In conclusion, these genetic markers could provide insight into the understanding the pathological process of COPD.
