침습성 A군 연쇄구균 감염증 교육·홍보자료 개발

초록

1. 연구의 목적 및 필요성 최근 일본을 비롯한 해외에서 침습성 A군 연쇄구균 감염증(Invasive GAS) 및 연쇄구균독성쇼크증후군(STSS)의 확산 사례가 증가하고 있으나, 국내에는 관련 감시체계와 교육체계가 부재한 실정이다. 이에 질병관리청의 감염병 감시체계 도입을 지원하고 의료진과 지자체 담당자의 현장 대응역량을 강화하기 위해 교육 및 홍보자료를 개발하고자 하였다. 2. 연구 내용 및 수행 방법 본 연구는 iGAS 관련 국내외 문헌조사와 전문가 자문을 기반으로, 의료진용·지자체용 교육자료와 대국민 인식 제고용 홍보물을 제작하였다. 의료진용 콘텐츠는 질병 개요, 진단·치료·신고 절차 등을 담은 PPT 2종과 20분 내외 영상 2편 및 요약형 소책자로 구성되었으며, 지자체용 자료는 신고·대응 절차 중심의 PPT(40장 내외)로 구성하였다. 그리고 대국민 홍보용 카드뉴스 1부를 제작하였다. 3. 주요 연구결과 가. 의료진용 교육자료(PPT, 영상) 개발 및 검수 완료 나. 지자체용 교육자료 및 인식 제고용 홍보물 제작 다. 전문가 자문단(의료계 3인) 검토를 통한 정확성 확보 라. 질병관리청 검토를 거친 최종 산출물 납품 완료 4. 기대효과 및 활용계획 본 과제의 결과물은 질병관리청 홈페이지, 유튜브 채널 및 전국 보건소를 통해 보급될 예정이다. 향후 법정감염병 지정 시 교육·홍보 기반 자료로 활용 가능하며, 의료진 및 지자체 담당자의 감염병 대응체계 강화를 지원한다. 또한 향후 유사 감염병 발생 시 재가공·확장 활용이 가능하도록 설계되어, 지속 가능한 감염병 교육 플랫폼 구축에 기여할 것이다.

1.Purpose and Background Recent increases in cases of invasive group A streptococcal infections (iGAS) and streptococcal toxic shock syndrome (STSS) have been reported in Japan and other countries. However, Korea currently lacks a systematic surveillance and education system for these diseases. This project was conducted to support the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) by developing educational and promotional materials that strengthen the practical response capabilities of medical professionals and local government officials. 2. Research Methods The project involved literature reviews, analysis of national and international guidelines, and consultations with infectious disease experts. Educational and promotional materials were produced, including four PowerPoint presentations and four 10-minute educational videos for healthcare professionals, and a 30-slide presentation and printed materials (leaflets and posters) for local public health workers. All contents were designed for both online and print use. 3. Main Research Outcomes a. Development and verification of educational materials (PPT and video) for healthcare professionals completed. b. Production of educational materials and promotional resources for local governments to raise awareness completed. c. Ensured accuracy through review by an expert advisory panel (three medical specialists). d. Final deliverables submitted after review and approval by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA). 4. Expected Effects and Utilization Plan The materials produced in this study will be distributed through the KDCA website, YouTube channel, and public health centers nationwide. They are expected to serve as foundational resources for education and awareness related to iGAS and other emerging infectious diseases. Furthermore, the project’s outputs will contribute to enhancing the responsiveness and competency of healthcare personnel and local authorities in infection control.
